Steve Nelson and Susan Anastasiadis founded Capital Insight Partners in 2008. Steve leads the firm and has extensive experience in portfolio management for individuals and institutions. Prior to entering the investment field, he spent four years in ministry.

Prior to Capital Insight Partners, Steve was with Merrill Lynch in Scottsdale. Before that, he served as a Principal at Lowry Hill and was on a team that oversaw more than $6 billion. He has over three decades of experience. Steve leads the strategic direction of Capital Insight Partners and has primary investment responsibility for a number of clients. Steve also sits on the investment team.

Steve’s degrees are a Bachelor of Science from St. John’s University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the Phoenix CFA Society and CFA Institute. He is a past Trustee of the Phoenix Art Museum and a former member of the Board of Directors of the CFA Society of Minnesota and the Catholic Community Foundation. In 2008, St. John’s University honored him with a Presidential Citation. His wife Kris is a veterinarian and the author of Coated With Fur: A Vet’s Life and Coated With Fur: A Blind Cat’s Love. They live with wonderful, if medically challenged, animals.
